An opportunity has presented itself for a Commercial Solutions Manager to join our Intermodal team in North Sydney (preferred, although applicants in Brisbane and Melbourne may also be considered).

What You’ll Do

Lead the design and delivery of commercial solutions and pricing strategies for Intermodal (containerised freight) customers.

Reporting to the Head of Revenue Management, you will:                                                                                 

• Lead and develop a team of Commercial Solutions Analysts to deliver high-quality financial modelling and commercial insights
• Own the end-to-end commercial solutions process, including costing, pricing, deal structuring, and internal governance
• Partner with Sales, Operations and Planning teams to develop competitive and value-driven customer solutions
• Assess market pricing, customer alternatives, and scenario modelling to support negotiation strategies
• Prepare and present investment and Board papers for major contracts and infrastructure investments
• Act as the internal lead on commercial deals, coordinating approvals and ensuring alignment across stakeholders
• Provide post-investment analysis and identify opportunities to optimise contract performance and commercial outcomes

What You’ll Bring

• Proven experience in a commercial, consulting, banking or logistics environment, ideally within a complex heavy industry.
• Strong financial modelling capability, including cashflow, P&L and discounted cashflow (DCF) analysis
• Demonstrated experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to structure and negotiate complex deals
• Experience preparing investment papers and presenting to senior stakeholders, including Executive leadership and Board
• Ability to influence, partner and collaborate across diverse stakeholders in high-complexity environments
• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Commerce, Finance or related discipline
