Job Description

The Commissioning Engineer will support I&C commissioning activities, ensuring delivery in line with project requirements, contractual obligations, and HSEQ standards.

  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to HSEQ, actively encouraging KVI and contractor teams to comply with project HSEQ requirements.
  • Ensure all relevant HSEQ requirements are incorporated within the area of responsibility and that HSE risks are eliminated or mitigated as far as reasonably practicable.
  • Review risk assessments and method statements (RAMS) to ensure compliance with HSE requirements and that work is executed accordingly.
  • Ensure I&C works are carried out in accordance with contractual requirements, approved drawings and standards, and within project time and budget constraints.
  • Contribute to lessons learned and provide feedback for current and future projects.
  • Maintain awareness of all HSE requirements relevant to the role and ensure full compliance.

Qualifications

  • I&C, Mechanical or Process Engineer, or equivalent scientific degree, with relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) legal and management system requirements.
  • Holds a valid SCC certificate or equivalent.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; experience with SharePoint and COMOS is an advantage.
  • Solution-oriented with strong planning and organisational skills.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to present and evaluate technical ideas.
  • Strong command of English; additional languages are an advantage.
