St John is hiring a part-time Community Educator to deliver the St John in Schools programme in Napier and across Hawkes Bay. The role is 2 days, 16 hours weekly, permanent, with travel required and a car and petrol provided. You’ll deliver engaging health education for tamariki from preschool to high school, tailoring to diverse ages and learning styles, with about 20% admin time. A full NZ driver’s licence, solid organization, and a genuine passion for empowering tamariki are essential; Te Reo Maori knowledge is a plus. This is a fantastic permanent part-time role, with great flexibility to plan and schedule your working week of 2 days. Programme delivery will be within school opening hours, however, any planning, preparation, and admin can be done at a time that suits you.
