Advice for applicants
Lead with your degree and your asset-management compliance experience. On your resume, place your degree details and five years plus of relevant work up front, then highlight a concrete example where you delivered a compliance process improvement or helped implement a new procedure.
In interviews, prove the must-have skills with real stories. Describe a time you independently drove a process to completion, how you automated a step in a workflow, and how you collaborated with IT or business-app specialists to make it happen.
Be ready to discuss Swiss and European regulatory topics, AML checks, and how you’ve handled marketing material reviews or regulatory filings. Bring specifics about how you stay current with evolving rules and what sources you rely on.
Ask a targeted question about the team’s structure and projects. For example, you could inquire how the Swiss team collaborates with the London-based team on regulatory initiatives like AIFMD II and SFDR II, and how they measure success in regulatory compliance initiatives.
