Weta Workshop is seeking a Concept Designer for a 6-month fixed-term, onsite in Miramar, Wellington. You’ll develop original visual concepts for environments, props, vehicles or characters, join blue-sky brainstorming sessions, and help drive world-building with design systems and style guides. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in concept art or related fields, understand architectural design or physical production processes, and boast a strong portfolio demonstrating exceptional concept design and environmental storytelling, plus expert skills in Photoshop and 3D tools such as Blender, ZBrush, Cinema 4D or 3DS Max.
