Job Overview:

The Construction Tech (Fab) provides solutions to problems in the Construction (Fab) discipline without supervisory approval and will evaluate and select solutions from established operating procedures and scientific procedures.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out administrative activities of Smart plant Construction, Foundation, and associated systems  
  • Engineering/ Procurement/ Construction data wrangling - querying, structuring, cleaning, and transforming datasets for imports/exports, analytics, and reporting
  • Develop a plan for project material storage, handling, transport & FTM
  • Carry out the project material bag/tag & material reconciliation    
  • Develop the list of shipped loose items  
  • Develop and maintain the record of rented items, calibration certificates, special tools & tackles, etc.  
  • Responsible for maintaining the inventory of tools/tackles for each discipline & identifying the shortage
  • Responsible for maintaining the master log for P&E (Plant & Equipment), Scaffolding, HVE (High-Value Test Equipment), and Consumables 

Essential Qualifications and Education:

  • Associate degree or diploma in Material Management
  • Over 5 years in the Oil & Gas/ Fabrication/Construction/Marine/Petrochemical industry as a systems admin  
  • Familiar with Offshore/Onshore Engineering 3D design & detailing tools data management (S3D, E3D, Tekla, Spoolgen)  
  • Competence in Computer systems (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Hands-on experience in MS Office tools like Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Proficiency in a range of processes or procedures through job-related training & considerable on-the-job experience
