We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Emergency Medicine Physician (Western Qualified) to join our Government Hospital. The successful candidate will provide expert emergency medical care, manage critically ill and trauma patients, lead emergency department activities, and ensure the delivery of safe, efficient, and evidence-based emergency services in a high-volume healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide comprehensive emergency medical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment for adult and complex medical cases.
• Manage acute and life-threatening conditions including trauma, cardiac emergencies, respiratory emergencies, neurological emergencies, and critical illnesses.
• Lead clinical decision-making during emergency situations and coordinate timely patient management.
• Perform emergency procedures including advanced life support interventions, airway management, resuscitation, and stabilization of critically ill patients.
• Supervise emergency department operations and ensure effective patient flow and clinical efficiency.
• Collaborate with specialists, intensive care teams, surgeons, and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
• Participate in emergency response teams, trauma calls, and hospital-wide emergency protocols.
• Ensure accurate medical documentation and compliance with hospital policies, clinical guidelines, and regulatory standards.
• Provide mentorship and clinical supervision to emergency physicians, residents, and junior medical staff.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, clinical audits, research activities, and emergency medicine training programs.
