Davey Resource Group is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester to join its employee owned team in Bowie, MD (with opportunities in nearby Prince George’s County) and to work onsite maintaining safe, reliable utility corridors. You’ll inspect rights of way vegetation, identify treatment needs, support Integrated Vegetation Management projects, and collect field data with GIS and mobile tools while collaborating with planners and crews. Essential traits include enjoying outdoor fieldwork in varied weather, ability to read GIS maps, strong communication, organization, and a clean driving record plus the ability to travel in a 4x4. Preferred: forestry or environmental degree, ISA or RPF certification, utility vegetation management experience, leadership potential.
