Aurecon is hiring a Contaminated Land Consultant, Scientist or Engineer to join its New South Wales Environment and Planning team in Sydney or Newcastle. This full time onsite role focuses on leading field campaigns for soil, groundwater and surface water sampling; managing contractors, premobilisation and safety; and developing Sampling Analysis and Quality Plans, Detailed Site Investigations and Remediation Action Plans for peer review. You’ll produce high quality reports to ASC NEPM and NSW EPA standards, support Environmental Impact Statements, coach graduates, and contribute to proposals and project management. Ideal candidates have 1–3 years in contaminated land, a relevant degree, knowledge of the Environmental Protection Act 1994, NEPM and NSW EPA guidelines, familiarity with the NSW EPA Auditor scheme, strong communication and a current driver’s license.
