Synopsis

The Continuous Improvement Specialist (CIS) supports and executes continuous improvement initiatives across Etihad Engineering. This role involves process mapping, problem solving, implementation of solutions, and supporting the CIM in delivering measurable improvements.

Accountabilities

  • Execute CI initiatives and monitor progress.
  • Assist in analysing performance data and identifying process gaps.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to address operational inefficiencies.
  • Support implementation of best practices across divisions.
  • Promote process standardization and knowledge sharing.
  • Document current processes and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Support root cause analysis and action plan development.
  • Track performance indicators and report results.
  • Help implement new workflows and measure effectiveness.
  • Contribute to workshops, process redesign, and CI culture building

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in a Process Improvement in Supply Chain environment.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or equivalent certification preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement tools.
  • Good understanding of supply chain functions and KPIs.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools (Excel, Power Point, Power BI, etc.).
  • Familiarity with project work and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Aviation or MRO experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
