Synopsis
Continuous Improvement Supply Chain Project Leader is responsible for driving and managing strategic supply chain initiatives across Etihad Engineering. This role leads cross-functional projects aimed at improving operational performance, standardizing processes, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. The Project Leader ensures alignment with long-term business goals, engages key stakeholders, and applies structured project and change management approaches to deliver sustainable improvements.
Accountabilities
• Lead end-to-end execution of continuous improvement projects within the supply chain function, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and with measurable impact.
• Analyze current processes and performance data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
• Develop detailed project plans, including objectives, milestones, risks, and resource requirements.
• Facilitate workshops, root cause analyses, and cross-functional meetings to design and implement process improvements.
• Promote best practices in Lean Management, Six Sigma, and operational excellence across teams.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure buy-in, alignment, and smooth implementation of improvement initiatives.
• Monitor and report on project progress, KPIs, and benefits realization to senior leadership.
• Contribute to the standardization of tools, templates, and methodologies used in improvement projects.
Education & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in supply chain, operations, or continuous improvement roles, ideally in aviation, aerospace, or manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional projects with tangible business outcomes.
• Certification in Lean Management (Preferred) or Lean Six Sigma
• Strong skills in project management; Agile project management certification is a plus.
• Proficiency in data analysis and process improvement tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI, process mapping software).
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
