Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and strategic Contract Manager to lead the end-to-end lifecycle of procurement contracts. This role is pivotal in ensuring contract governance, compliance, and operational efficiency across the organization. You will collaborate closely with Legal, Finance, and Procurement teams to standardize templates, manage approval workflows, and negotiate supplier terms.

The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in contract clauses, risk mitigation, and procurement best practices, with a passion for driving process improvements and supporting procurement transformation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contract Governance & Compliance: Ensure all contracts are structured, stored, and aligned with internal policies and legal standards.
  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee contract creation, review, approval, execution, and renewal tracking.
  • Template Standardization: Collaborate with Legal to maintain and update contract templates with best-practice clauses.
  • Approval Workflow Management: Manage contract approval hierarchies and escalate as needed to avoid delays.
  • Data Integrity & Reporting: Maintain a clean and accurate contract repository; generate dashboards and performance reports.
  • Process Optimization: Identify and implement improvements to reduce contract cycle times and enhance efficiency.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with suppliers and internal teams to ensure contracts meet commercial and legal requirements.
  • Technology Oversight: Manage contract tools (e.g., Coupa) to ensure effective tracking and compliance.
  • Legal & Insurance Coordination: Facilitate discussions between suppliers, legal, and sourcing teams to ensure timely closure.
  • Risk Management: Ensure supplier compliance with insurance and other contractual obligations.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track SLAs, KPIs, and milestones to ensure contract obligations are met.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
  • CICCM or equivalent certification in Contract Management (preferred).
  • 8–10 years of experience in procurement or contract management.
  • Proven experience in contract governance, reporting, and repository management.
  • Strong collaboration experience with legal and finance teams.

Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

  • Expertise in contract lifecycle management tools (Coupa preferred).
  • Strong understanding of procurement policies and risk mitigation.
  • Ability to generate and analyze contract performance reports.
