Arvida Group Limited seeks a Cook for a permanent part-time weekend role onsite in Richmond, TAS, working one weekend per fortnight with leave coverage possible. Minimum 17 hours per fortnight, competitive pay, and ongoing training. You’ll prepare high quality, nutritious meals that meet residents’ dietary needs, ensure Food Control Plan compliance, and collaborate with the kitchen team to deliver safe appetising experiences aligned with the Eating Well philosophy and Arvida’s gold standard. The ideal candidate has commercial kitchen or cafe experience, excellent cooking and baking skills, strong hygiene, solid communication and time management, plus empathy for older adults and a current NZ Food Safety Certificate. Our Cook plays a vital role in the wellbeing of our residents by providing high-quality, safe, and appetising meals that meet our resident’s individual nutrition needs.
Duties are varied, active, and stimulating with lots of personal interaction. You will ensure the smooth and efficient running of the kitchen service, maintain compliance with our Food Control Plan, and collaborate with others in the kitchen team to deliver a first-class and nutritious experience for our residents.

This is a permanent part time weekend cook position, working one weekend per fortnight, as well as the option to cover leave from time to time.
