Join YMCA Carbrook OSHC as a full-time Coordinator, leading a team of educators and delivering child-led programs. About the role
Are you ready to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a passionate, purpose-driven Coordinator to join our YMCA Carbrook Outside School Hours Care service on a full time basis.
As the Coordinator, you will lead a dedicated team of educators, create engaging programs for children, and play a key role in building inclusive, vibrant communities.

What you’ll do
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the service
- Develop fun, child-led programs
- Lead and support a team of passionate educators
- Ensure high standards in compliance, administration, and safety
- Build strong connections with families, schools and the local community
- Create a space where children feel safe, supported, and inspired to grow
What you’ll bring
- A Diploma in Children’s Services or related ECEC or Teaching qualification (or studying towards)
- Demonstrated experience in children’s programming and service operations
- Strong communication, leadership and time-management skills
- A valid Paid Blue Card (or willingness to obtain)
- Current First Aid and CPR certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- A commitment to creating a safe and inclusive environment for all children
- Familiarity with the National Quality Framework
