About the role

We have a fantastic contracting opportunity for someone with the ability to multitask over a range of accounting and taxation functions. This role will be responsible for filing and processing indirect taxes, monthly financial journals and reconciliation, monthly cost centre reporting and analysis and preparations of cost centre forecasts. The ideal candidate

  • Can analyse Tax transactions, prepare GST returns and manage our Non-resident contractors tax risk.
  • Provide analysis and insights to cost centre managers for costs and support them with preparation of forecasts.
  • Effectively communicate with the various people across the business.
  • Prepare journals and reconciliations.
  • Capable of navigating the SAP system to analyse and review transactions.

 

Skills & Experience

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Collaborating with internal & external customers.
  • A “can do” confident attitude.
  • Strong financial, analytical, and investigative skills.
  • Ability to identify critical issues and analyse with detail and accuracy.
  • Has or is working towards or have a relevant Tertiary & CAANZ Qualifications.
