Job Requirements
The Role
As a Senior Manager of Strategy, you will shape the long‑term growth of the Sensors BU. You will partner with executives to define where we play, how we win, and how we allocate resources to maximize growth-both organically and through M&A, partnerships, and innovation.
This is a high‑impact role suited for candidates who enjoy solving complex business problems, driving change, mentoring others, and influencing senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategy Development & Execution
- Define strategic choices: markets, technologies, regions, customer segments.
- Lead hypothesis‑driven problem solving and structure strategic recommendations.
- Develop business cases, long‑range plans, and executive‑level presentations.
- Measure strategic progress through KPIs and propose course corrections.
2. Market, Customer & Competitive Insights
- Analyze trends in technology, regulations, customer needs, and competitors.
- Lead primary and secondary research to identify future market shifts (5–10 years).
- Translate insights into actionable strategic recommendations.
3. Growth Strategy (Organic + Inorganic)
- Identify and assess growth platforms, adjacencies, and innovation spaces.
- Support evaluation of partnership and acquisition opportunities.
- Advise senior leadership on the most attractive growth bets.
4. Talent Development & Team Leadership
- Coach junior strategists and build problem‑solving capability in the BU.
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive environment across functions and regions.

Preferred Candidate Profile
Strategic & Analytical Skills
- Experience managing strategy projects (Engagement Manager / Manager level in consulting).
- Strong ability to structure ambiguous problems and turn insights into action.
- Excellent analytical rigor, prioritization, and attention to detail.
Communication & Leadership
- Executive presence and strong storytelling/presentation skills.
- Ability to influence without authority and collaborate across cultures.
- Skilled at leading cross‑functional teams and driving alignment.
Experience
- Strategy consulting experience at a project leadership level required.
- Experience in industrial technology, manufacturing, or engineered products preferred.
- Sensor domain knowledge is a plus but not mandatory.
- Corporate experience (beyond consulting) valued.
