AA New Zealand is seeking a part-time Customer Liaison Consultant for the Tauranga Centre, 21 hours per week on-site with a roster Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and Tuesday 8:30 am to 2:00 pm. You’ll be the friendly first contact, uncovering why customers are visiting, assisting with straightforward NZTA/Waka Kotahi processes, and guiding visitors to the right counters to keep queues moving. The ideal candidate brings customer service and retail or sales experience, comfort working toward targets in a busy environment, a positive energy, and a willingness to learn. Benefits include free AA Membership for you and your whānau, a birthday day off, wellbeing leave, training, and insurance discounts. To apply, tailor your résumé to highlight customer-facing successes and simple process handling; our process is people-led and reviewed by real people, and we welcome applicants even if they do not meet every criterion.

Based in our Tauranga Centre, you'll be the friendly face of the AA, creating positive experiences for every customer who walks through our doors.

As the first person our members and customers meet, you’ll be tasked with finding out what brings them to the AA centre, lend a hand with any straightforward matters and assist with NZTA/Waka Kotahi processes. You’ll also be responsible for ushering them to the correct counters and ensuring that things run smoothly by managing the flow of visitors and any queues that form.

This is a part-time role working 21 hours per week and the roster is Monday, Wednesday, Thursday & Friday: 10:00am-2:00pm; Tuesday: 8:30am-2:00pm.

About You | Mōu

You're passionate about providing outstanding customer service and enjoy helping people find the right solutions. You have previous retail and/or sales experience and are confident working towards sales targets in a fast-paced environment. With a positive attitude, plenty of energy, and a willingness to learn, you're a team player who enjoys connecting with people and creating memorable customer experiences.

What We Offer | Ngā āhuatanga kei a mātou

• Free AA Membership for you and your whānau
• A day off for your birthday and 2 days wellbeing leave annually
• Training available / career development
• Discounted insurance

Here, we offer a lot more than roadside assistance. We're constantly evolving and advancing into new businesses, offering new challenges and a range of opportunities.
