The Opportunity

Our Lysaght business is looking for a Customer Service Representative to join our Mackay QLD team.  Made in Australia since 1921, Lysaght manufactures and markets steel building products that have helped shape the nation: from iconic corrugated roofing over Australian homes, to large commercial and industrial projects.

As a Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing frontline support to our branch by efficiently managing customer enquiries received via phone, email, and in-person visits to our showroom. Our diverse customer base includes professional builders, plumbers and resellers, all seeking premium products and tailored solutions that reflect our commitment to quality and service excellence.

What Will You Do?

Working with a friendly and inclusive team, you will be a key contact for sales and service enquiries in this fast-paced environment. In addition, you will: 

  • interact with our customers via phone, email and face to face to manage a variety of enquiries
  • accurately enter, update and maintain customer, order and product information in business systems
  • support the day-to-day administration of the branch, including processing paperwork, preparing customer documentation, filing, scanning and assisting with other general office duties as required
  • collaborate with internal stakeholders including marketing, warehouse and sales departments to ensure customer expectations and requirements are met - including product specifications, special packaging, and delivery timetable
