Hamilton City Council is seeking a Customer Service Support Representative to join the on-site Customer & Community Unit in Hamilton, New Zealand, with options for full-time (40 hours) or part-time (20 hours). The Customer & Community Unit is the connection between the various units within the Council and its residents and customers. We pride ourselves on being both the voice of the customer, and the face of the organisation.
As a Customer Service Representative, you will be the first point of contact for our residents and customers - no two days are ever the same in our world.
You will be kept busy processing requests for service and enquiries. Using the knowledge gained from your training and within our Knowledge Base, you will interpret facts and deliver on individual customer requests on a case-by-case basis specific to their needs.
This is a unique opportunity to gain knowledge and experience of a variety of council's business functions within a contact center environment.
We are recruiting for both a full-time (40 hours) and a part-time role, 20 hours per week across Monday - Friday.
