GAC Group is seeking a Customs Clearance Clerk for a full-time onsite role in Abu Dhabi. The job involves preparing, submitting and tracking import and export documentation, settling payments, maintaining expense folders, and coordinating with government agencies and consulates, with a focus on accuracy and disciplined filing. Qualifications include a secondary school certificate, knowledge of customs port procedures and tariffs, solid MS Office skills and the ability to learn new software, plus at least one year in the airfreight cargo industry; English, Urdu and Arabic communication is preferred. Settle all payments to the Cashier on daily expenses
Update job folders with details of expenses related to documentation including copies of receipts /invoices
Prepare, submit and collect documents various government agencies and consulates
File all collected and delivered documents with details of expenses per job including copies of receipts and invoices
Maintain a daily register of jobs undertaken and jobs completed
Carry out import/export clearance documentation
Collect and deliver various official documentation
Prepare and submit all Bill of Entries (BOE) through customs for Import department
Prepare and submit all Export Declaration (ED) for Export department
Secondary school certificate.
Knowledge of customs, port procedures, and tariffs.
Good communication skills – English, Urdu, and Arabic (preferred).
Good with MS Office basics applications and able to learn new software quickly
Minimum of 1 year experience in airfreight cargo industry.
