Data & AI Specialist

Data & AI - Consumer Health

 

The Data & AI Specialist supports the reliable flow, quality, and readiness of data used for business decisions, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions. The role combines hands-on data operations, issue resolution, documentation, and continuous improvement to help deliver trusted, well-structured, and activation-ready data at scale.

 

Scope: Global / Local

 

What You’ll Do

  • Monitor and validate data feeds, platform outputs, and vendor deliveries for completeness, timeliness, and quality.
  • Maintain business rules, mappings, taxonomies, classifications, and documentation to ensure data is consistent and usable.
  • Investigate data quality issues, support root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support analytics and reporting needs through data preparation, validation, and handover to BI or AI use cases.
  • Contribute to AI-ready data operations by improving structure, labels, context, and documentation for datasets.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify recurring work through self-service, automation, and practical use of AI tools.

 

About You

  • Background in business, data analytics, information management, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in data operations, data quality, analytics, and AI-enabled ways of working.
  • Confident user of Excel and analytical tools; familiarity with SQL, Power BI, cloud data platforms, workflow tools, or automation is an advantage.
  • Strong AI fluency, with the ability to leverage tools such as n8n, Power Automate, Make, Zapier, or similar platforms to improve workflows and productivity.
  • Structured, detail-oriented, and reliable, with the ability to follow processes while suggesting practical improvements.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary you can expect:  £41,830 - £52,287 pa depending on experience.  Salary reviews take place annually in April.
