We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically-minded Data Analyst for a Government entity in Dubai. In this role, you will transform raw data into actionable insights, helping to drive strategic business decisions. The ideal candidate has deep expertise in Power BI for building dynamic dashboards and possesses advanced Excel skills to manipulate, audit, and model data with precision.
Key Responsibilities
Data Visualization: Design, develop, and maintain interactive, high-impact Power BI dashboards and reports for stakeholders across departments.
Data Manipulation & Analysis: Clean, transform, and model complex datasets using advanced Excel functions (including VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, Index/Match, and Pivot Tables).
Insight Generation: Analyze data trends, identify anomalies, and provide clear, data-driven recommendations to management.
Data Quality Assurance: Maintain the integrity of data sources, ensuring all reports and calculations are highly accurate and auditable.
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams to understand their reporting needs and translate business requirements into technical data solutions.
Required Qualifications & Skills
Technical Expertise
Power BI: Proven hands-on experience in building and maintaining advanced Power BI dashboards and executive reports, enabling data-driven decision-making for senior leadership.
Advanced Excel: Mastery of advanced formulas (VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP), advanced data filtering, conditional formatting, and building robust Pivot Tables / Pivot Charts.

Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to look at numbers and see the story behind them.
Communication: Ability to explain complex technical findings to non-technical team members clearly and concisely.

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Finance, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a data analytics or business intelligence role.
Fluent in English as well as Arabic.
Gross Salary- 12500 AED per month + benefits as per UAE Labour Law.
