BT Group is hiring a Data Engineering Specialist to join the Data & AI Enablement Team in a hybrid Belfast or London role, with 3 days in the office and 2 remote. You will design, build, and support end‑to‑end data pipelines using Ab Initio, develop scalable batch and streaming workloads with Spark, and orchestrate data ingestion with NiFi across AWS and GCP environments. The role includes mentoring junior engineers, delivering demos to stakeholders, and advancing CI/CD practices. Essential skills include Ab Initio, Spark, NiFi, Python/Scala/Java, and SQL, plus Hadoop or cloud data services; desirable IaC, Git, Jira/Confluence, and leadership experience. Highlight concrete data products and multi-cloud outcomes in your application, and align with BT’s customer first culture.

Working Style: 3 days a week in office, 2 days from anywhere
