 DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  1. Registration of patients in the HIS and ensuring accuracy is maintained.

    1. Attending to the patients and guiding them with their enquiries

    2. Maintaining good telephone and email etiquette

    3. Coordinating with the supervisors regarding the patient flow management

    4. Ensuring that the billing is done in the system accurately as per the guidelines and billing protocols.

    5. Ensuring that the waiting time is reduced and assisting in improving the same

    6. Maintaining the correct remarks and updates for various company referrals and coordinating with the relevant team if there is any clarification

    7. Being up to date with the new tie ups and the billing requirements

    8. Assisting with related data entry tasks in the other departments

    9. Assisting with any additional task assigned by the HOD as per the operational requirement

Minimum 1-year experience as a receptionist in a patient focused environment and                    operation of multi-line switchboard system.

4.3       Proficient technology application skills; Basic MS Office (Word, Excel, & PowerPoint) MS Outlook & Internet explorer skills.

4.4       Must have an exceptional interpersonal skill, maturity, good judgment and be capable of communicating in a professional manner with diverse range of individuals, superior telephone etiquette 

           4.5        Patient focused; service oriented; patient & understanding.

 4.6        Efficient organizational skills; ability to handle multiple responsibilities under pressure while maintaining composure

  1. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

    1. Reliable, punctual, dependable, and responsive.

    2. Excellent command of oral and written English. Arabic language advantageous/desirable but not essential.
