Opendoor is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to join its centralized Data organization in Seattle, onsite. You will work with the consumer and seller experience groups, partnering with product, engineering, design, and leadership to turn data into strategy and drive product decisions that boost satisfaction and growth. You will build analytics, perform deep-dive analyses, design A/B and multi-armed bandit tests, create scalable pipelines and dashboards, and present findings to executives. Requirements include advanced SQL, Python, strong statistics and experimental design, excellent communication, business sense, and a track record solving open-ended problems; 5+ years in data science with 3+ years in e-commerce or consumer products preferred. Offer includes base pay 186,000 to 256,000 plus RSUs and bonuses, plus hybrid work with 4 days in office, 1 remote, and strong benefits.

Bachelor's degree or higher in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
5+ years of experience in data science, product analytics, or a similar quantitative role.
3+ years of experience in e-commerce, two-sided marketplaces, or consumer-facing products preferred.
The base pay range for this position is $186,000 - $256,000 annually, plus RSUs and bonuses. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on your qualifications, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
