Your key areas of responsibility as DataOps Engineer:
Support the implementation and maintenance of DataOps practices to enable continuous and reliable delivery of data products.
Automate deployment, testing, and monitoring of data pipelines across development and production environments.
Contribute to the operational stability of data workflows, including troubleshooting, incident resolution, and performance optimization.
Implement data quality checks, validation rules, and monitoring to ensure trusted and consistent datasets.
Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and platform teams to streamline end-to-end data processes.
Help establish observability standards (alerts, logs, lineage, SLA tracking) for data pipelines and platforms.
Participate in the definition of best practices for version control, documentation, and lifecycle management of data assets.
Support governance and security requirements, including access controls and compliance guidelines.
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives around automation, scalability, and operational excellence.
As an ideal candidate you have:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
2–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, DataOps, DevOps, or a related role.
Solid understanding of data pipeline concepts, orchestration, and operational support.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and workflows (Git, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, etc.).
Experience with modern data platforms and tools such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, DBT, Snowflake, or MS Fabric is a plus.
Proficiency in SQL and scripting languages such as Python or Shell for automation and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of data quality, monitoring, and governance principles.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Fluency in French and English (verbal & written).
