Fox Chase Cancer Center is seeking a Day Care Substitute Aide to step in when a classroom teammate is absent, helping create a caring safe environment and assisting with learning activities under the Lead Teacher. The role hinges on strong communication, active listening, teamwork across settings, and building positive relationships with children, families and staff. Key requirements include a High School Diploma or equivalent, Pediatric First Aid CPR certification, and Mandated Reporter training within 90 days (renewed every five years) plus Fire Safety training within one year. Within one year, complete 15 hours of PQAS training in Early Childhood Education; one year of related experience preferred; knowledge of ASQ, Ounce Scale, Work Sampling, DHS/ERS/NAEYC standards is a plus.
