Lumino Otaki seeks casual Dental Assistants to support its Otaki and Waikanae practices during busy periods. Job Description

Lumino Otaki is seeking a few Casual Dental Assistants who can support across our two practices , Otaki & Waikane during busy periods, staff leave, and future locum coverage.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting clinicians chairside during procedures
• Preparing rooms, instruments, and equipment
• Maintaining high standards of infection control and sterilisation
• Welcoming patients and assisting with reception tasks when required
• Helping the team deliver an exceptional patient experience 

Qualifications

We’re keen to hear from candidates who have: 

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant preferred but training would be given to the right candidate
• Knowledge of dental procedures and techniques
• Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills
• Proficiency in computer software applications
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Have valid NZ work rights and lives locally 
• Hold a valid NZ driver licence and have access to a reliable vehicle (as travel between Ōtaki and Waikanae will be required).
