Transam is seeking a Planner and Dispatcher for the afternoon shift in Panmure Auckland to lead planning and coordination of full and empty container movements across New Zealand, with a focus on fleet utilization, safety, and timely service. You’ll be the operational coordinator for Transam Transport and Container Depot activities, working with drivers, depots, ports and shipping lines, and making real time adjustments while keeping bookings and instructions within agreed timeframes. Ideal candidates have around 3 years in logistics or dispatch, experience with TMS such as ContainerChain or VBS, strong MS Office skills, and excellent communication and problem solving under pressure; eligibility to work in NZ and willingness for pre employment checks. We're currently on the hunt for a Planner & Dispatcher to lead the efficient planning, scheduling, and coordination of transport activities for both full and empty containers across New Zealand. The role ensures optimal fleet utilisation, safe operations, and timely service delivery while maintaining strong customer communication and compliance with all legislative and company requirements.

Hours of Work:
This role is based in our Panmure location. A minimum of 40 hours a week Monday to Friday between the hours of 3.30pm to 12 midnight, with flexibility to meet operational requirements required.
This is a full-time permanent role based in Auckland. You will have the right to live and work in New Zealand at the time of applying. The successful candidate may be subject to undergo a Police Check and/or Pre-Employment Drug Test.
