Greensleeves Care is seeking an experienced Deputy Manager to join Torkington House in London, full-time and onsite, with the chance to lead the home in the manager’s absence and help steer care across 26 homes. You’ll ensure high quality care, oversee staffing and resources, and lead staff and resident meetings and training. Greensleeves Care have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Deputy Manager to work full-time at Torkington House

As a Deputy Manager, you will:

• Ensure that high standards of care are delivered to meet the needs of the individual resident, monitoring and maintaining these standards;
• Assist with the management of the Homes staffing, financial and material resources, including involvement in staff recruitment and selection
• Taking responsibility for the running of the Home in the absence of the Home Manager
• Leading and facilitating in staff and residents meetings, staff training and development activities.

To apply, you will need:

• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent
• Relevant experience of working and supervising staff within a care home
• Excellent knowledge of the CQC standards
• Working knowledge of Legislation and the Regulatory Framework underpinning practice in relation to the care of older people
• Excellent communication and administration skills along with the ability to prioritise and cope with a busy and varied workload
