  • Monitoring route progress and ensuring all jobs are completed efficiently
  • Managing rescheduled or reallocated jobs when things shift (as they sometimes do!)
  • Supporting drivers through incidents, delays, and absenteeism
  • Coordinating the receipt and movement of vehicles and materials through the weighbridge
  • Directing onsite traffic and ensuring all vehicle movements are safe and compliant
  • Delivering excellent customer service across phone, email, and onsite interactions

Qualifications

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience in despatch, fleet coordination, transport operations, or similar logistics roles
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with drivers, customers, and internal teams
  • Outstanding organisation and the ability to prioritise on the fly
  • Comfort working in a fast-moving environment where decisions count
  • Proficiency with MS Office and scheduling/dispatch systems
  • Knowledge of hazardous waste handling (a bonus, but not essential)
  • A commitment to safety and doing things the right way
