Whop is hiring a Developer Experience Engineer for a fulltime onsite role in New York City. You’ll build tooling to rapidly launch local and remote development environments, speed and maintain CI/CD, enable gradual rollouts and instant rollbacks, and create agentic systems that accelerate engineering, while collaborating with product teams to improve testing and debugging and relentlessly chase tech debt. Requirements include 3+ years in software development, comfort with a fast paced startup and imperfect information, a curiosity to continuously improve the product, the ability to ship fast, reliable software with strong attention to detail, and experience with databases, backend systems, and automation tooling. Nice to have: secure SDKs, auth/secrets/webhooks, event‑driven work, and LLM automation. Benefits include a sixfigure base salary plus equity, unlimited PTO, robust health coverage, a Brooklyn rent stipend, meals, and the latest MacBook Pro. To apply, highlight measurable velocity improvements, link to relevant tooling or repos, and show collaboration with product and IT teams.
