About the role

As a developer experience engineer, you'll work on projects that impact the velocity of the engineering team. You'll make our development process faster, more reliable, eliminate tech debt, and improve our tooling. We need someone who wakes up thinking about how to make every engineer here 10x more effective.

What you'll do

  • Build tooling to rapidly launch local and remote development environments
  • Speed up and maintain our CICD systems
  • Develop tooling that enables gradual rollouts and instant rollbacks
  • Build out agentic engineering systems that speed up development
  • Create reliable staging/test environments
  • Work with product teams to ensure seamless testing/debugging
  • Hunt down tech debt and generally find ways to speed up the engineering team

What you need

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a software development role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment with imperfect information
  • Curiosity and drive to continuously seek ways to make the product better
  • Ability to ship fast, reliable software with a high attention to detail
  • Experience with databases, backend systems, and automation tooling

Nice to have

  • You've built and maintained secure, public SDKs
  • Deep experience with auth, secrets, webhooks, and event-driven software
  • You obsess over the best developer experience
  • Experience integrating LLMs into automated workflows
