CPKC is hiring two Diesel Service Attendants in Thunder Bay, Ontario. This full time onsite union role pays $35.16 per hour and covers fueling, inspecting, servicing and maintaining locomotives, testing cab electrical and brake systems, and ensuring safe operations. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license and a commercial license, at least one year around heavy equipment, and the ability to work all shifts in any weather. Pre-employment medical, drug testing and background checks are required. As a Diesel Service Attendant, you play a critical role in ensuring locomotives are safe, fueled, serviced, and ready for operation. In this hands-on position, you will inspect, move, fuel, clean, test, and perform basic maintenance on locomotive equipment while supporting the safe and efficient movement of rail traffic. Working in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment, you will use your mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and commitment to operational excellence to help keep our railway running smoothly.
