Job Description

As Digital Data Analyst, you’ll help turn digital, customer and omnichannel data into meaningful insights that support better business decisions.  

Reporting to the MarTech Enablement Manager, you’ll play a hands-on role in measuring digital performance, maintaining analytics governance and enabling the business to make actionable improvements by delivering key reporting across our digital platforms. Partner with teams across Digital, Marketing, Customer, Data and Technology, and external analytics partners, to ensure our digital activity is accurately tracked and our insights are translated into meaningful recommendations that drive customer experience, commercial performance, and data-informed decision-making.  

What you’ll be doing:  

  • Turn digital, customer and omnichannel data into clear insights that support commercial decisions and customer experience improvements.  
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports and performance visualisations across digital and omnichannel activity.  
  • Manage digital measurement requirements across platforms such as GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio and Power BI.  
  • Monitor data quality, reporting consistency and analytics governance across key digital platforms.  
  • Partner with Digital, Marketing, Customer, Data and Technology teams to define metrics, measure initiatives and identify optimisation opportunities.  
  • Manage our external agencies and analytics partners to maintain tracking, tagging and measurement solutions.  
  • Support testing activity and analysing performance outcomes.  
  • Translate complex analysis into practical recommendations for stakeholders across the business.  

Qualifications

You’ll be curious, commercially minded and confident working with digital analytics. By working cross functionally, asking the right questions and turning analytics into key insights and reporting, you’ll help define performance areas that will drive improvements. Strong attention to detail and a passion for improving digital performance will be key!  

Ideally, you’ll have:  

  • 2+ years’ experience in a digital analytics, measurement, tagging or a similar analytics role.  
  • Hands-on experience with Google Analytics or similar web analytics tools, including digital performance measurement and customer journey analysis.  
  • Confidence using GA4, Google Tag Manager, Looker Studio and Power BI.  
  • Experience querying and analysing data using SQL, reporting systems or business intelligence tools.  
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.  
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and influence outcomes with stakeholders.  
  • A good eye for data quality, governance and reporting accuracy.  
  • Experience in retail, ecommerce or omnichannel analytics would be an advantage, particularly in SKU-level performance analysis.
