Johns Hopkins University seeks a Director of Education to partner with the Vice Dean and translate strategic priorities into leadership across degree programs. You will oversee curriculum administration, program development, teaching and learning support, accreditation and assessment, and faculty governance, while supervising staff and serving as the liaison for faculty. The ideal candidate has at least five years of project management, a master’s degree, and experience with online education and academic affairs, plus strong data analysis and partnership due diligence. To apply, tailor your resume to emphasize program administration, governance, accreditation and outcomes, and craft a cover letter linking your experience to Hopkins School of Government and Policy; highlight collaboration and readiness to engage in university forums.

We are seeking a Director of Education who will serve as the principal staff partner to the Vice Dean for Education, translating the Vice Dean’s strategic priorities into day-to-day operational and administrative leadership across the School’s academic programs. Reporting to the Vice Dean, the Director manages curriculum administration, new program development, teaching and learning support, accreditation and assessment processes, and faculty governance support. As a seasoned academic affairs leader, the Director also exercises independent judgment on academic policy matters, supervises academic affairs staff, and serves as a key point of contact for faculty and students on academic policies and procedures.

The newly announced School of Government and Public Policy, unveiled in October 2023, presents a pivotal opportunity for Johns Hopkins University to strengthen its footprint and engagement in the nation’s capital. This initiative aims to serve society, train the next generation of public servants, drive data-informed government innovation, and confront the complex challenges facing today’s policymakers.
