Lead the Sales & Marketing team to develop and execute commercial strategies that maximise revenue, market share, and hotel profitability.
Develop and implement annual sales, marketing, and revenue plans aligned with the hotel's business objectives and IHG brand standards.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key corporate accounts, travel partners, government entities, event planners, and industry stakeholders.
Drive business across all revenue streams, including rooms, meetings and events, food and beverage, and other hotel outlets.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer insights to identify new business opportunities and maintain a competitive advantage.
Lead, coach, and inspire the Sales & Marketing team to achieve individual and departmental performance goals.
Collaborate closely with Revenue Management, Operations, and other departments to optimise commercial performance and enhance the guest experience.
Oversee the hotel's marketing strategy, digital presence, brand positioning, public relations, and promotional campaigns.
Analyse sales performance, forecasting, and commercial KPIs, providing regular reports and recommendations to the General Manager.
Manage departmental budgets, sales expenses, and return on investment for marketing initiatives.
Represent the hotel at industry events, trade shows, networking functions, and client meetings to strengthen market presence.
Champion a high-performance, customer-focused culture while ensuring compliance with IHG brand standards and company policies.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field.
A minimum of 5 to 7 years of progressive sales and marketing experience within the hospitality industry, including leadership experience in a similar role.
Proven track record of developing and delivering commercial strategies that drive revenue growth and market share.
Strong understanding of hotel sales, marketing, revenue management, digital marketing, and distribution channels.
Excellent knowledge of the local and regional hospitality market, corporate business, and government segments.
Outstanding leadership, coaching, and stakeholder management skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams.
Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
Experience working with hotel sales, CRM, and revenue management systems is preferred.
Fluent in English. Additional language skills are an advantage.
