Petstock Ballarat is hiring a full-time Dog Daycare Attendant to create a safe, fun environment where dogs socialize, play and rest; you’ll supervise animals, maintain clean play enclosures, monitor interactions, bathe and groom pets, prepare meals, and support families with warm customer service while keeping accurate care records and adhering to OSH policies. The role suits someone who loves animals, is physically fit to lift up to 20 kg, adaptable to changing conditions, and skilled at building rapport with clients and colleagues. A Peek Into Your Diggiddy Doggy Daycare Day
Animal Supervision & Husbandry - Ensure all enclosures are clean and well-maintained, with a constant supply of fresh water
Animal Welfare - Monitor dog interactions to prevent distress or injury caused by other dogs, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all dogs
Providing outstanding customer service where you and your customer will have memorable, meaningful interactions. Welcome clients at the door and ensure a smooth handover by safely transferring dogs to the appropriate play enclosure
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with both customers and the team
Prepare play enclosures to accommodate the number and needs of dogs, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment
Ensure all areas are clean and well-maintained
Clear away animal waste, thoroughly clean, disinfect and look after animal play areas
Bathe and groom animals
Prepare meals, including special diets, safely transfer animals to feeding areas, and ensure adequate rest post meal
Clean and prepare comfortable sleeping areas for animals
Promptly report serious health problems to manager and adhere our OSH procedures and processes
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for all animals in care

Experience in a similar role or working with animals is an advantageous but not essential
