An exciting fixed-term two-year opportunity to join MSD’s Enterprise Design Group in Wellington as Domain Design Lead, Business Rules, within the multi-year MSD services for the future transformation programme. You will design MSD’s future service delivery by transforming how business rules are managed, standardised and applied, with responsibility for governance, automation and QA. The successful candidate will bring significant experience designing and implementing initiatives in a large, complex organisation, strong analytical skills, and a proven ability to lead teams and manage senior stakeholder engagements in large-scale transformation. About the role | Mō te tūnga:

 

  • Fixed term for 2 years
  • Based at National Office, Wellington

 

ou’ll join the Enterprise Design Group within MSD’s multi‑year transformation programme. This group leads the future-state operating model, service experience, and design disciplines that will shape how MSD delivers services at scale.

 

As the Domain Design Lead, Business Rules, you will design MSD’s future service delivery by transforming how business rules are managed, standardised, and applied.

 

 


What you bring | Ōu pūmanawatanga

 

•    Significant professional knowledge in the design and implementation of new initiatives within a large and complex organisation.
•    Expertise in business rule governance, automation and quality assurance.
•    Proven technical ability in the design and management of business rules.
•    Strong analytical skills and experience working in large, complex organisations.
•    An experienced leader with a proven record of effectively leading teams in a complex and demanding environment.
•    Significant experience working at senior level in a dynamic large-scale programme or change delivery environment.
•    Proven  experience managing complex stakeholder engagements
•    Experience in large-scale transformation delivery.
•    An understanding of equity issues and the Treaty of Waitangi, and the implications of these for the work of MSD.
