Holmes Care Group is looking for a Domestic Assistant to join our on-site team in Greenock, offering a 12 hours per week role in a full-time setting focused on keeping homes clean, presentable and safe for residents and visitors. What does the day of a Domestic Assistant look like?

Our Domestic staff will ensure our homes are kept clean, presentable, and safe for residents and visitors:

  • To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises

  • To clean resident rooms, communal and staff areas as well as toilets and bathrooms

  • Disposal of refuse/waste ensuring waste bins are maintained.

  • Assist with laundry tasks.

  • Assisting with dining room preparation for mealtimes

  • Develop a positive relationship with all residents, staff and visitors by becoming an important member of the team
