Holmes Care Group is looking for a Domestic Assistant to join our on-site team in Greenock, offering a 12 hours per week role in a full-time setting focused on keeping homes clean, presentable and safe for residents and visitors. Your day will cover cleaning resident rooms and communal areas, waste disposal, laundry tasks, dining room prep and building positive relationships with residents and staff. What does the day of a Domestic Assistant look like?

Our Domestic staff will ensure our homes are kept clean, presentable, and safe for residents and visitors:

• To maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene throughout the premises

• To clean resident rooms, communal and staff areas as well as toilets and bathrooms

• Disposal of refuse/waste ensuring waste bins are maintained.

• Assist with laundry tasks.

• Assisting with dining room preparation for mealtimes

• Develop a positive relationship with all residents, staff and visitors by becoming an important member of the team
