Orica is seeking experienced Underground Drill and Blast Engineers to join its Mining Services Technical team in a field-facing role across Australia and New Zealand. You will design, review and optimise underground blast outcomes, work directly with site teams to diagnose challenges, lead improvement projects, and manage blast vibration and environmental impacts, supported by a global network of blasting specialists. The role offers an eight days on, six days off roster with travel across NSW, Victoria, Tasmania and NZ. Operating on an 8 days on / 6 days off roster, this position offers the opportunity to travel extensively across New South Wales, Victoria, Tasmania, and New Zealand, gaining exposure to a diverse range of underground mining environments, commodities, and operational practices. You will play a key role in troubleshooting operational challenges, improving blast performance, and delivering technical support that drives measurable results for our customers.
