Job Description

  • Pick up / Drop hotel guests at predetermined locations and predetermined times in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Duties include operating and maintaining transportation vehicles with a focus on safety and customer courtesy.
  • Assist guests in the handling of luggage and large packages.
  • The driver may open the car door for guests.
  • Educate passengers with regard to local information.
  • Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Performing minor maintenance tasks on the vehicles when necessary.
  • Fuelling the vehicle.
  • Ensuring that periodic scheduled vehicle maintenance is completed and reported.
  • Documenting customer usage.
  • Preparing trip reports.
  • Preparing accident and incident reports as necessary.
  • Assisting guests in and out of the vehicle.
  • Providing other services as requested by management when not engaged in transportation service.
  • Should be familiar with the roads and landmarks in the UAE (Especially Dubai).
  • Should also be knowledgeable of all local rules of the road.
  • Co-ordination and information with the Concierge, Front Office and other departments.
  • To effectively handle all guest requests.
  • He/she is familiar with all related company documentation and especially with the relevant Operational Standards Manual for his/her field of responsibility.
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Review and update the Logbook.
  • Be smart, well groomed and maintain a friendly and cheerful disposition all the times.
  • Report regularly on happening to FOM/Doirector of Operations.
  • Maintain associate relations.
  • Resolve guest complaints.
  • Ensure the services are up to the required standard.
  • Check hotel situation, occupancy, functions, groups and VIPs.
  • Attend training classes as per schedule
  • Show fullest cooperation and respect within the team and other departments
  • Is aware of the daily activities and has product knowledge of all the hotel facilities

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in vocational hospitality, 1 – 3 years experience in 4-5  star Hotel

Valid UAE Driving license is required

Fluency on English - written and spoken
