WM NZ Limited is looking for a Class 4 Driver to safely operate our waste collection fleet from Lower Hutt with onboard equipment, paperwork, and safety checks. This full-time on-site role includes some heavy lifting and requires a clean Class 4 NZ licence, relevant driving experience, and a reasonable fitness level. You’ll be customer focused, able to work independently or as part of a team, and share our safety culture so everyone gets home safely. Job Description

About the role
As a Driver, you will be responsible for operating a vehicle and equipment on board to ensure a safe and timely collection of service. You’ll also be required to keep accurate records and paperwork and undertake vehicle safety checks.

At times there may be some heavy lifting so you will need to have a reasonable level of fitness. From previous experience, you’ll already know the importance of health and safety in the workplace, and you’ll champion our culture of making sure everyone gets home safely.

Qualifications

About you
You are customer-focused and enjoy interacting with customers and colleagues. You’re comfortable working independently and pulling together as part of the team.

You will also need to have

• A clean and up-to-date Class 4 New Zealand driver’s licence
• Relevant driving experience
