About the role

We’re looking for a safety-focused Driver (Class 5) to join WM New Zealand. You’ll operate company vehicles and equipment to deliver waste management services safely, efficiently, and sustainably, while keeping customers happy. This role will not be limited to driving Class 5 Trucks, and involves driving a range of vehicles, including Class 2 through to Class 5 trucks, depending on business needs.

About you

We’re seeking a reliable and motivated driver who takes pride in safe, high-quality work. You’ll have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, with strong communication and a commitment to customer service and sustainability.

You’ll bring:

• A valid Class 5 NZ Driver’s Licence
• Proven heavy vehicle driving experience
• A solid understanding of vehicle safety, maintenance, and fatigue management
• Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to carry out daily vehicle checks
