Next’s Driver Development Coach at the Motherwell site plays a role in keeping our drivers safe, confident and efficient by conducting van and LGV assessments, delivering inductions, coaching after incidents, and CPC training while ensuring tachograph and Working Time compliance. You’ll work with Transport Management, the Driver Training Manager and the Driving Academy, with a Monday to Friday 06:00-15:00 base and travel to other centres. Key requirements: Class 1 (C+E) with at least 1 year’s experience, proven coaching and CPC delivery, excellent communication and collaboration skills, flexibility, and a strong safety mindset with meticulous record-keeping. As a Driver Development Coach at our Motherwell Regional Service Centre you’ll play a vital role at the heart of our Transport operation, helping our driver population stay safe, confident, and efficient on the road. Working closely with the on-site Transport Management Team, Driver Training Manager, and the wider Driving Academy, you will champion road safety, reduce accidents through defensive driving, and promote fuel-efficient driving techniques. The position is Monday - Friday 06:00-15:00, with flexibility required to support the operations.
