Trents Invercargill, part of Foodstuffs South Island, is seeking a Driver/Storeperson for a full-time role that blends truck driving with ambient, chiller and freezer warehouse work, plus a rostered Saturday shift in summer and occasional overtime. Key requirements include proof of a clean Class 2 truck licence with at least 12 months’ experience (Class 4 preferred) and ideally a current F and OSH Forklift Endorsement. You must be physically fit, have excellent customer service, teamwork and numeracy, and be flexible to meet deadlines. About the role:

  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 4:30pm with a rostered 2-4hr Saturday shift approx. once every 4-5 weeks over summer months.
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime and provide statutory holiday cover when required.
  • Provide proof of clean current licenses to drive trucks, Class 2 is required with a minimum of 12 months driving experience, Class 4 preferred.
  • Hold a current F and O.S.H Forklift Endorsement is preferable but not essential.
  • Work within a dedicated team.
  • Be Flexible.
  • Supply referees regarding work experience and character before their appointment.
  • This is a Driver/storeman role so work in the ambient warehouse, chiller and freezer will be required when not driving.

  • Be able to provide a stable work history
  • Have reliable transport as employment hours maybe outside public transport hours or may not be available.
  • Pass a pre employment medical with alcohol and drug check.
