Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Vehicle Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess a valid UAE heavy vehicle driving license and have a strong track record of safe and timely deliveries. You will be responsible for operating heavy trucks, trailers, or other transport vehicles in compliance with UAE traffic laws and company policies.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy vehicles such as trailers, flatbeds, tankers, or construction trucks.
- Transport goods/materials to assigned destinations across the UAE.
- Ensure vehicle safety and cleanliness before and after trips.
- Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance (oil, tire pressure, etc.).
- Comply with UAE traffic regulations and company safety policies.
- Accurately complete delivery logs, timesheets, and other required documentation.
- Coordinate with dispatch and warehouse teams for loading/unloading.
- Report any accidents, incidents, or mechanical issues promptly.
Requirements
- Valid UAE Heavy Vehicle and non Heavy Vehicle Driving License.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience driving heavy vehicles in the UAE.
- Good knowledge of UAE roads and traffic rules.
- Ability to read and follow maps, GPS, and delivery instructions.
- Physically fit and able to work long hours or in shifts if required.
- Multilingual abilities (Arabic, English, Hindi/Urdu).
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with vehicle safety inspections.
- Experience transporting hazardous materials (if applicable).
- Knowledge of vehicle repair or maintenance is a plus.
