Job Description

Duty Engineer

  • Monitor and maintain mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical faults or equipment failures promptly.

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance to reduce risk of breakdowns.

  • Respond quickly to emergencies, such as alarms or safety hazards, following protocols.

  • Keep detailed records of equipment status, maintenance work, and incidents.

  • Coordinate with other departments to address operational and technical needs.

  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.

  • Support installation, commissioning, and testing of new equipment or systems as required.

Qualifications

Your experience and skills include:

  • Diploma or degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or relevant field)

  • Relevant technical certifications (e.g., HVAC, electrical safety, mechanical maintenance)

  • Proven experience in maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of engineering systems

  • Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems

  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance standards

  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to work independently and handle emergencies calmly

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills

  • Computer literacy for logging reports and using maintenance management systems
