Job Description

Our Duty Managers provide operational leadership across the hotel. Reporting into the Guest Services Manager, the Duty Manager ensures the effective oversight of hotel operations during their shift, supporting all departments to deliver an exceptional guest journey while maintaining a safe and compliant workplace for team.

This role is critical in ensuring smooth handovers, effective communication between teams, and real-time resolution of guest and operational issues.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated luxury hospitality experience
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels – from frontline to senior leadership
  • Ability to lead hotel operations with calm confidence
  • Skilled in Opera Cloud, Microsoft Office and reporting procedures
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • Current RSA, RP, First Aid certification and full driver’s license
  • Full availability over a 24/7 rotating roster
  • Full, unrestricted Australian working rights
