Sharaf DG is hiring a Duty Manager in Dubai to oversee a store category including stock, manpower, productivity and margins to drive profitability. The ideal candidate will lead teams, monitor performance against AOP targets, ensure accurate pricing and planogram compliance, and maintain timely stock flow while controlling shrinkage. You will manage customer issues, returns and deliveries, and conduct coaching and succession planning. Requirements include 3+ years in retail electronics with at least 1 year in people management; a graduate degree and retail management certification are preferred. Job Summary & Purpose: To manage specific categories in the store to include all aspects of stock, manpower, productivity, front end margins and category’s top line Key Performance Areas (KPAs) & Principal Accountabilities: 1 Lead, inspire and motivate store teams to achieve top line target and front end margins 2 Monitor and review all store activities against pre-determined targets that are set as per the AOP including productivity increase & improving efficiency 3 Checking the display and merchandising of stock (e.g. correctness of price ticket) 4 Ensure that the prices changes are updated and reflected correctly on the merchandise 5 Ensure the store is operating as an independent profit center focusing on closely managing both the sales and the expenditure of the store 6 Ensure that the stocks/merchandise are received on time at the floor from inventory 7 Controlling and reducing shrinkage. Checking security of merchandise on floor by conducting PI counts on a regular basis and variance reconciliation 8 Ensuring display logic and implementation of planogram and ensuring the functionality of display merchandise 9 Tracking the conversion rates at the department level/individual level 10 Responsible for handling and resolving escalated customer complaints and queries 11 Responsible for tracking and resolving queries on returns from customer care, location transfer of merchandise/SKU’s, Brand Promise and customer deliveries 12 Monitor product availability for any in store promotions. campaigns, reporting any shortfalls to the area manager 13 Training & Succession planning of the team members 14 Timely communication and submission of reports on Productivity, Roster, Leave Planning etc. 15 Check staff’s grooming/discipline and punctuality 16 Adherence to the checklists and processes (staff discount policy, store opening/closing etc) 17 MAMR adherence 18 Conducting One O Ones on a regular basis

Requirements

Experience(Yrs& Field): 3+ years of experience in Retail Electronics background and 1 year of people management Educational Qualification:  Preferably Graduate,Professional Certifications Retail Management Skills & Abilities: Customer Focus, Result Orientation, Team Work, Leading People, Communication, Business Acumen, Problem Solving
