YMCA Victoria is looking for a Duty Manager at Benalla Aquatic Centre, a casual onsite role that reports to the Centre Manager and oversees shift operations across four pools the gym and the group fitness studio. You will maintain a centre wide focus, know the Emergency Action Plan and lead autonomously while supporting a strong team. Essential qualifications are an Aquatic Pool Lifeguard Certificate, CPR and First Aid (HLTAID009 and HLTAID011). OH and S knowledge and prior supervisory experience are advantageous. About the Centre
Benalla Aquatic Centre is proudly run by the YMCA on behalf of the Benalla Rural City Council. The Centre has 4 large pools including a 25m Pool, Program Pool, Toddler Pool (with a slide) and 50m Outdoor Swimming Pool. We also have a Gym and Group Fitness studio in which offers a wide range of equipment for all patrons and staff to enjoy.
About the role
As a Duty Manager at Benalla Aquatic Centre you will have delegated authority of the Centre Manager, and will maintain a broad knowledge of centre programs and services whilst at the same time managing a range of centre functions whilst on shift which may include;
This is a casual position and the hourly rate is $42.35 + superannuation + Y benefits.

As a Duty Manager you will act as positive role model in an effort to build strong people, strong families and strong communities, as well as identifying potential risk factors and taking steps to reduce those risks. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude and a commitment to the safety and wellbeing of children, young people and all facility users.
